'I Am.' is an album that essentially reveals both Nas' imaginative quality lyricism, and his somewhat flawed approach to record them as well.
After a three year departure and receiving a great deal of criticism regarding the production and musical flaws of his sophmore effort, Nas become considerably decisive regarding his third studio album originally to be titled 'I Am.Nastradamus' a conceptual double LP, and yet due to conflicting scheduling issues he make a somewhat guilty decision to release two (single-disc) albums in a consisting one year period.
